Use of remote sensing data for elaboration and development of public services RITA1/02-52
The EU Copernicus provides large amounts of satellite remote sensing (RS) data free of charge for users to develop effective new services. This demonstrates interest by public stakeholders but also challenges them to use RS methods effectively and incorporate suitable solutions in the workflow. We will study possibilities to use RS in the Estonian public sector through themes that the stakeholders have prioritized:
The national user will especially benefit from the dissemination plan as all the information will be made available in the native language and through many user and training events. Results will be published in the media and scientific journals, making the outcomes also available to the international community and industry. The best and most experienced Estonian RS teams and students will be engaged.
