The objective is to develop software that enables to map the electromagnetic field strength above the printed circuit board of some electronic device by using a near-field probe, spectrum analyzer and video camera to determine the position of the probe with respect to the printed circuit board.
As result of the thesis, the developed software shall be able to identify easily and inexpensively problems related to electromagnetic compatibility and compare the efficiency of different technical solutions in terms of electromagnetic compatibility.
Testing of electronic devices in a vacuum environment requires accurate temperature measurements. An electronics module using an I2C interface must be developed for saving temperature data in real-time
Improvement of a 2D-positioning control system. Programming, electronics development, mechanics development, user interface development.
Development of a testing procedure and setup for evaluation of temporal and spectral variability of semiconductor light sources. Thesis includes hardware and software development, and testing.
Review of C testing frameworks and their applicability to embedded systems unit and integration testing.
