Summer School "Unlocking Potential: Space Tech Applications for Unmanned Aerial Systems"

On 17-21 June, Tartu Observatory is organizing a five-day summer school on unmanned aviation in cooperation with the Estonian Aviation Academy. The summer school focuses on the possibilities and applications of space technology in the field of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS).

The summer school will focus on:

  • Space systems,
  • Satellites,
  • Near space applications,
  • Rocket engines and
  • Future developments.

The fourth day of the summer school will take place at the Tartu Observatory in Tõravere. Lectures and workshops will be given by Viljo Allik, Chief Engineer at the Tartu Observatory, and Mihkel Pajusalu, Associate Professor of Space Technology.
