On October 1st, 2026 at 12.00-16.30, Tartu Observatory in Tõravere is hosting an Open Doors Day - and you're invited! If you're curious about science, space, or considering doing your thesis at the observatory, this day is for you.
During the day, you'll get to:
meet scientists and students working at the observatory;
discover what exciting research happens here;
take part in guided tours.
Schedule:
12:00 Bus from Tartu (stops: 12:05 Delta, 12:20 Maarjavälja)
13:00 Introduction to departments
14:00 Observatory tour
15:30 Spacefair + snacks
16:30 Bus back to Tartu
