The Smart Forest Robot

In cooperation with Milrem Robotics, we are developing an automatic forest regeneration system. The goal is to move towards forest management, where at least 80% of forest work is done by unmanned ground vehicles.

Currently, applied research is underway to reduce the required human intervention in robotic forest regeneration operations called Smart Forest Robot. The current study is based on an earlier research project that developed the foundations of a reliable autonomous system
